I just purchased the latest issue of Guitar Player and was very pleased to see such a large story on Allan Holdsworth (the most influential player alive, if not ever).
However, I was incredibly disappointed in the article called the Prog-Rock Primer. Not once did the article mention Gentle Giant. They were, in my opinion, one of the best bands from the Progressive Rock scene, and Gary Green being one of the best and most underrated of guitar players. It just amazes me, how forgotten this band is when bands like Rush are mentioned,
