Long in the making, but finally started: it's the Ross Brown's Shirt World Tour !!!

The idea is simple: get in contact with whoever is currently in possession of the infamous Ross Brown Shirt, wear it to a gig, post a picture here and send it onwards to the next person \:D

Here's a picture of me sporting the shirt:

Next in line should be Kramer, but I haven't heard from him in a while ... Anyone wanna play?

How about you put a piece of paper in the pocket. Sign it, date it and say what country or city you live in. Then anyone that posts a pic can do the same.

This is the most absurd idea ever.

I'll totally play along. Someone hit me up with a PM to let me know when I'm "next".

I'd love to play, though I fear the shirt will be too small.

Oh, what the hell. I'm in!

Yeah, well... I might bow out of this for now. We're going to be getting about a gig a month. Wellington's a small place and that's apparently all that the traffic will bear. Between that and the huge time it takes for stuff to get here, I feel like I'd be holding up the queue.

It is an extra large. Bought it at a discount store (not W-mart). EPB, let us know who is next. Looks like Mr. Ferrington is going to pass for now...

I suppose if it doesn't fit someone, they could talk a bandmate into wearing it...??

Funny!

I can't get away with that at the church gig, it would just be wrong to get sax spittle on it anyway.

Sure - count me in.

Like Flemtone, I've worn worse shirts to gigs that are still in my closet.

Great, this is going to be FUN \:\) Here is the game plan:

I will send it on to Paul K.

Paul K will send it to Bumpcity.

Bumpcity will send it to jlrush.

jlrush will send it to bottomgottem.

Bottomgottem will send it to Brocko777.

Brocko777 will send it to Kramer Ferrington III.

Kramer Ferrington III will send it to flemtone.

Flemtone will send it to saxofunk (if he's willing?)

saxofunk or flemtone will send it to Phil W.

Phil W will send it to jar546.

jar546 will send it to mattulator.

mattulator will send it to Tom Capasso.

I just took it in the order in which people replied, as this seems fairest. If more people join in after Tom, I am more than willing to continue monitoring and arranging the sending order.

I am seriously considering creating a page on my band's website where I will keep track of the World Tour, so I would like to ask everyone to also send me a picture and a short story of the gig and your bandmates' reactions etc etc. It's the ultimate rock'n'roll statement

I do strongly advise everyone to launder it before you send it on \:\)

HAHAHA \:D Hey guys, IF you Americans decide amongst yourselves that it's easier to send it to someone else who is in the same state rather than stick to my planning, please feel free. Just be sure to warn everyone (easiest way is to bump this thread). Anyway, I will have it in the mail tomorrow for Paul K. Guess the "World Tour" so far will be Belgium + the US \:D

Seamy, DavidMPires, other Euro-forumites ... Wanna play?

Additionally, I will be working on a web page tomorrow for this little project. It will become a page on my "Ami's Other Adventures" thread on my band's website, but I am thinking of buying a domain for the band, which will free up all the free space I get from my internet provider. We'll see

HAHAHAH ... Well Tom, looks like you're no longer last in line. Seamy, you will get the shirt from Tom Capasso. Probably by the end of 2009 or so, because this could take a while \:\)

I am sending it out to Paul K tomorrow if all goes well, and Monday if it does not (read: if I don't wake up on time ;))

Hey, put me down!

I'm not usually allowed to wear something like that on gig (most of my gigs require either a tuxedo or a coat and tie) but I'll break the rules on a coat and tie gig to get the picture. (I'll probably get fined by the bandleader but it will be worth it.)
