I dont know if many of you are aware of Jack White's (of the White Stripes) other group he's in called The Raconteurs. They've just put out a new album today that just rocks. If you've got the need for new music, check em out. I'm really digging this band. Anyone else here listening?

I saw them live, fifth row, opened for Bob Dylan, was pretty cool. He can play, I like his cover of Bang bang, is it on there?

I think I got a faulty album or something. I ripped it onto my computer and the album information came up with a band named "Sugarman 3" and the album "Soul Donkey." Kinda strange. All the tracks were labled songs from Soul Donkey but they were Raconteurs songs when you listen to them.

I sometimes use that song of theirs for teaching.

I bought "Steady As She Goes" on iTunes. I thought it was some new band and I'm thinking "these guys are brilliant" then I found out it was Jack White. Seems like anything Jack White does is brilliant.

Yeah, he really seems to be on a roll. Unlike a lot of present day artists, he doesn't require years to come up with an album.
