If isolation from electric guitar and other instruments is a huge issue,like a live stage recording,these are great.Even if you are in a small studio,they could be usefull if you need to keep the noise down for the neighbors.They are not, however, the best way to record a guitar cabinet.If you are at home,why not just stick the cabinet in a closet, or another room? Like you said, if small rooms need alot of bass trapping,then how many bass traps would this tiny room need to sound good,Ha Ha.
