and, er, how do you spell this "pudding"? \:D

thanks, I was hesitating because I only knew pudding from British English, where with the prefix plum- I believe it's a bit different from the American and German pudding.

I believe that American and English "pudding" may be two slightly different things. In American, pudding is a sweet concoction having a very soft consitency. It comes in different flavors and colors. Chocolate pudding is dark brown and looks like thick mud. Some fruit flavors may have little bits of the fruit mixed in. Banana pudding though is different from others in that it has a different consistency with whole vanilla wafers and slices of banana. Here is a picture of a serving of chocolate pudding

And, for the sake of contrast, here is English Black Pudding:

thanks a lot for clarification.

Ken, I think American and German pudding are essentially the same, although pudding with a more thick consistency already drifts into the field of "mousse au/a ..." (no disrespect to my french brothers)

I've always found that ^ to be a misleading, gross misuse of the word pudding.

Seems the English do a great deal of misusing the word "pudding"

Gotta Love pudding. Great Stuff. I mean like american pudding though, like good, wholesome jello pudding. Not fried black sausage n stuff like that.

Kind of amazing how pudding and Pro Audio wildly discussed in the same place.
