If all goes as planned, I should have it by the end of the weekend. I played it the other day in Kansas City and it *spoke* to me!!

Reverend Warhawk 290-the only thing I want to do is put on black pickup covers, otherwise it rocks!

WOW!...that's a unique green color!

I always thought the Reverand guitar designs were cool looking.

Very nice!
Good luck with it.

Yep, it is NOS, 'Zan. I was completely taken by the color, but then I played it, and WOW! It is the P90 equipped machine that I have been looking for. I can't wait!

The only thing that I don't like about the new Warhawks 390s is the colors. If they had one that was natural(or honey, as they call it), like the Volcano, I'd jump on it! Personally, I don't really care much for the Tobacco burst or the metallic red. I know the green on the 290 is a little loud, but I love that color and it fits the guitar perfectly. And above all, the way it played and felt, I wouldn't care if it was pink & purple! Well, ok maybe not pink & purple, but you get the idea. \:D

Soggy, my signal chain is: Mid '70s Thomas Organ Crybaby > BBE Soul Vibe > Original Marshall Guv'nor > Danelectro Danecho > Danelectro Tuna Melt Tremolo > Carvin Stagemaster or Peavey Classic 30 amp.

Looks sweet, congrats. I was just thinking tonight how much I love my Jetstream. I know what you mean when you say it "spoke it you," the first instant I put my hand on mine I knew I wasn't leaving the store without it. Great guitar with one of my favorite necks I've ever played and the p90's sound real nice. Just a real super quality guitar. I'm a believer! Keep us updated.

Yes it is, soggy. The only thing that I don't like about my Stagemaster is that carpet they covered them in. But that's a minor issue, otherwise I love it! Carvin gear is awesome!

Well...It looks like it won't happen this weekend. \:\( The little one has been sick, Easter is tomorrow, etc. The wife isn't real happy about me buying another guitar, but she relented under the orders of waiting till after the 25th of this month. Reason being that is the end of the credit card billing cycle and she pays them off completely every month. And this last billing had quite a bit on it. So...looks like next weekend is going to be a drive up to KC! I'll be on the phone to the place on the 26th and do the deal, then drive up on Saturday. It's gonna be a long week.

BTW, that is one sweet looking Rev you got there, Mike. I likes me some Bigsby action!

Pulled the trigger this morning!!! My singer is actually going to be in Kansas City tomorrow & Friday for business, so he'll pick it up for me & I'll be playing it Friday evening. Of course afer stringing it up with my 10-52's and setting it up to my preferences. Even got some black P90 covers coming. I'll post some pics & now that I finally downloaded Audacity, I'll even be able to post some sound clips!!! I just love "new guitar day"!!!
