For Sale or Trade.
One pair of used DiMarzio Model J DP123 pickups. I didn't use them so much, but they came to me used and had been handled rough:

The Disclosure: When I received these the magents were floating around in a Ziplock bag, I have re-installed them to the best of my ability. Poles on the neck pickup are North, poles on the bridge pickup are South. There is a bit of hot glue holding the magnets on now. I cannot guarantee that DiMarzio intended that arrangement, but they work. Also, due to prior use or shipping the coils of the bridge pickup were loose in the cover, you can see in the photo that my gluing project was less than precise and left a bit of glue visible by the poles and on top of the pickup.

The wires show evidence of less-than-professional installation. The pictures clearly show the black and white leads have been cut very short and would need to be extended if you desire to use a parallel/series switch. Green and red leads have been extended so there are splices, as they are they fit easily into my Tobias.

Why am I unloading these? I spent $50 on them and they didn't change the sound of my bass noticeably. I reinstalled the stock pickups, changed strings and found tone Nirvana that way. These have been in storage about a year.

They work. Retail at MF is $109.99.

$55 gets them shipped in the continental USA. PayPal only. Sorry, no international sales.

Will consider trade for item/s of similar value:
Effects (pedals or a simple/cheap/outdated multi effects unit).
Tuner pedal (Boss preferred)
USB interface so I can make my bass or sax talk to my computer (1/4" inputs necessary, XLR optional).
Entry level guitar/bass amp with good, clean sound.

As pedals go, my 6 year old son has a guitar and I am interested in experimenting with my sax. Specifically I'd like to try a fuzz, flanger, rotary sim, phaser, chorus, or tubey overdrive (not metal distortion). Will consider others.

As amps goes, my son's Peavey Blazer 158 came to us free from someone who already killed it. It distorts on both channels and at all volumes. He prefers to use my Nemesis combo amp... doesn't bother me unless I want to plug in and give him a bass line to jam to. He needs his own amp that is clean. We can always add overdrive when he really learns to play.

PM preferred. Email is saxofunk72 at yahoo dot com, but I check it maybe 2x a week. I will see PMs as I am on the forum daily.

They're sold. The thread is dead.
