I wonder what it would be like to listen to music in a big bubble..no flat surfaces,top, bottom or sides. Somebody must have tried it somewhere,, maybe not?? Just curious..:)

If you mean a sphere, that's the worst shape acoustically. The same for a geodesic dome. Curved surfaces focus sound, which is not what you want in a listening or recording room.
