hi to all!
sorry for my bad english but i'm from to italy.
i've read in Ethan Winer acoustic FAQs that if you, for example, add a 2 inch rigid fiberglass over the already existing 2 inch fiberglass you get the same effect like you had a 4 inches panel.

Starting from this i'd like to add another layer to the corner traps already built.

My situation differs a bit because i'm not using the rigid fiberglass all of you are using, my material is quite different because it is impossible to bend by hands and you can only use an electrical saw to cut it. It calls Eracustic and has very good absorbent coefficients.

So my corner traps are made from this and i would like to add another layer of material over it which has the same qualities but a lower absorbent coefficient.

So what do you think about this?

I also would like to add it to one of the walls.

ciao omaroski,
se cerchi l'equivalente della rigid fiberglass in italia ecco un sito utile:
http://www.isover.it/soluzioni_pavimenti_isolamento_acustico.asp
se vai sulla tag rivenditori trovi chi la vende nella tua zona.
Il prodotto e' il BAC2000

The above site is a good seller of rigid fiberglass in Italy \:D

ciao killaCez!
oramai ho finito il lavoro e ho usato quest'altro materiale che dai coefficenti di assorbimento acustico sembrava pił che idoneo.
