GP people,

I had intended to drop you all a note to ask why you'd left the Sweet Sound Ultra/Mojo vibes out of your shootout, given that they're widely recognized as contenders for the "best" production vibes today, but unfortunately learned the following whilst looking for further info:

Bob Sweet has been diagnosed with cancer. He has a very large malignant growth in his neck, it and will need to be removed and treated. He will undergo chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. He doesn't have medical insurance.

Bob is well-known and loved, and we're all very concerned. Several prominent pedal makers (ZVex, Lovepedal, etc.) are trying to get things in motion to give the guy a hand.

Here are some related links:

TGP

HC

Toyz

Just thought you'd like to know.

Sincerely,

Alex Law

+1 on the Sweet Sound Vibes being the best, I too was more than a little miffed at that they didn't make the roundup. Owning most of the vibes on the market, I can attest to the Ultra Vibe II and the Mojo Vibe being the top of the group. Guitar Player should do reviews of these pedals so everyone else will find out how great they are. If you want a vibe and haven't played through a Sweet Sound Vibe, your cheating yourself.....
