As much as I love the content I am not fond of the interface to Bass Player TV: too much navigation into sections and back, too little displayed.
I think live.bassplayer.com is much more inviting, but not as well connected, or more bandwidth hungry. I have frequent stops and resyncing and it is pretty annoying.
I am reading you from Milano, Italy, with a 20Mb bandwidth that is not a void promise usually. Still they have no fiber in my neighborhood, but I do not miss it usually.
I think the online site misses a front cover, too many links and nothing but snippets to read, nothing to make you stop a while.
If I were you, I think I would look a bit more like paper, but add video in features, for example, publishing fragments of an interview along with the text and of course contextual ads.
This would add to paper for people that read you, while the magazine adds transcriptions and better pictures to the web counterpart.

Hi Michele,

Thanks for your feedback. We certainly consider all of these issues as well, and your input genuinely helps.

By the way, I visited Milan for my honeymoon in 2000. It's a beautiful city, much underrated, and we had a lovely time there. In our home we now have framed print of the gorgeous Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle. Hopefully we'll make it back someday.

Best,

Bill
