Ethan,

My first post here. Thank you for the treasure trove of information on your sites.

I'm going the DIY route and want to know if it's cool to laminate two 2" panels to form one 4" thick bass trap absorber, and, if so, is there a particular glue or adhesive I should use/avoid? These would both be Owens Corning 703 & 705 products. My local distributor in NYC carries each type of panel in only the 2" versions.

Thanks for any advice...

Jim,

There's nothing to laminate and no need for glue. Just stack two panels adjacent and cover them with fabric as one unit. Voila - a single 4-inch panel. \:D
