I have about $1500 budget. And I'm looking for microphones to replace my MXL990/991 which I am not very satisfied with.

So I have been looking into quite a few microphones, and I've come down to these 6 choices:

Small Diaphragm: Shure KSM137/SL and Audio-Technica AT4041.

Large Diaphragm:
Shure KSM27, Audio-Technica AT4033CL, Sterling Audio ST77, and Rode NT2-A.

I'm interested in mostly using them for vocals and acoustic guitar. Decent drum set overhead quality would be a bonus but not required. If any of y'all have any experience with ANY of these microphones or have heard anything about them could you please pass on the information to me. Input on various other microphones would be appreciated also.

Any feedback on these microphones will been very, very appreciated.

For $1500 you could get a pair of used 4041's (they are no longer made but are IMHO the finest SDC in their range hands down) a Rode NTK and a KSM44, 32 or a pair of 27's, and still have money left over.

However I'd recommend looking for a pair of AKG C414B-ULS, which are amazing for acoustic guitar, and also a great vocal mic. You should be able to find a pair used for around a grand. They also make excellent drum/percussion overheads, are fabulous on grand pianos, reeds, brass, etc. There's not much a 414 can't do. Then with the remaining $500 get a pair of 4041's.
