I'm sure this has been answered but the sear function here is the pits (6 months limit?!).
I'm planning on building panel style traps to stradle 90 degree corners.
Would filling the space behind the panel with fluffy stuff, or similarly, building a "super-chunk" style absorber out of dense fiber glass, be more effective than the panel alone.
I thought I had read that this would handle low bass a bit better.
Would it be a waste of time? My panels are going to be 2' x 4' x 6" thick, and I'm making 12 of them (for a room that is about 16' x 12' x 8').

Yes, filling the entire area helps a little, but only a little. If you're limited by the cost of material, it's better to treat more total corner surface than fill fewer corners.
