We have a original/cover rock and roll band in NC called Providence Road. Some southern rock influences. Writing some original stuff, some covers. Good line up of musicians with good equipment. Dedicated. Focused. Playing "positive message" and Christian rock. Working with two ministeries in their once a month comtemporary service. Many inroads for festivals, rallies, plus other avenues too numerious to include. For more info email us at nyghtflyght@gmail.com

Pay? I'll have to laugh. We've all been around long enough to know we are staving artist.

Well, that's where the key players went - to paying gigs.

I was fortunate enough to have done both - the classic rock cover band AND the contemporary Christian/dynamic worship gig. Now I am overseas, so it is kinda moot though.

And the cover band DEFINITELY paid better. There is a lot of merit in the worship band as well.

Hope you find someone to fill your needs. A lot of the newer stuff has a LOT of keys in it. And groups like David Crowder are teaming with IK Multimedia - providing Reason demo versions right on the CDs! Talk about a change of pace - from red-headed step children to cutting edge! (Hope no one took offense to that)
