Hi, I need to get two circuits terminated and grounded at the main panel (two spare spots for the circuits already exist) in my house, and then run upstairs to a couple rooms. I've had the absolute worst time hiring an electrician for the job! I'm down to crawl around and run the wire myself--basically do all the dirty work--and I can even supply the wire/ground rod/acorn clamp/etc. Anyone know anyone they'd recommend?

Thanks,

Ryan

Ryan,

I can't make a specific suggestion, but unless the issue is money any qualified electrician could do the job. It's not hard, just a little dangerous unless you're careful. What are they balking at? If you pull the wire runs to the outlets yourself, that's 90% of the work. FWIW, any tradesman likes to make money on parts. Let them supply and connect things like the outlets and boxes, connectors, breakers, etc. Most electricians around here will give a free estimate. Any possibility you could do the connection yourself?

Best, Paul

Check your local Craiglist, there are often licensed Electricians looking for sidework advertizing there.
