hey guys i just want to say the new GP format is awesome, i like the info you are providing. I think the jesse gress column is great, as well as the artist interviews and the lessons and GPTV. As a private music instuctor i would love to see more of the monthly lessons like the old howard roberts/ arlen roth articles of the 80's, not those articles in particular but the same format. But the new mag has tons of info to keep anyone busy for a long time.

Will do. The staff committed itself to upgrading the mag's educational aspects this year in order to more aggressively help guitarists play better and sound better. We really appreciate the encouraging notes from the reader community -- after all, many of the changes initiated this year are borne from reader criticisms and requests.
