My Bass instructor told me about an issue from 1995 that had a feature on the greatest rythym sections of all time, but I am not sure what month it is. Any info would be great.

That issue was actually the June '98 issue. Give our Back Issues department a shout at orders@cmp.com and let them know which issue you're looking for. They'll get back to you with ordering information.
