I don't know the 660. I have 7 pairs of 7506es for the talent. They really suck. The isolation is horrible, and they seem to have about the same characteristics as a pair of Yamaha NS-10Ms... harsh, with grating mids pushed forward.... they are great "MORE ME!!!!" phones for singers. Which is why I have them. For me? I've got an old pair of Beyers which have even tone and flat frequency response 20-20k. Smooth and easy to listen to for extended periods of time.... which the talent does not have to do.

I agree with Bill on the "sound quality" of the Sony 7506 headphone…very harsh to my ears...and yes, they have lousy isolation.

My "talent" headphones have always been the trusty old Koss Pro4AA closed-back headphones.
I have 8 pairs...most are originals from the 70s/80s, but Koss now has them as a reissued model since so many people loved them...and they appear to be the same as the originals.
I've sent a few of my original Pro4AA's back to Koss for repairs (blown voice coil, cracked basket, damaged cable...etc)...and the only thing I had to pay was the shipping charge!
Basically...they returned “brand new” headphones to me...with just the original shell...but on one pair, they just sent back a totally new pair.
Koss had lifetime warranty on the Pro4AA phones...which makes them a great value for regular studio use...and, they sound pretty darn good!
Though they can get a bit heavy/tight feeling if you wear them for a long time….but that’s why they have great isolation.

Don't know much about the Beyerdynamic phones....

My monitoring/editing phones are the semi-open Fostex T50RP…exceptional sound quality and rather inexpensive. I have 3 pairs of them.

I don't know about the 7506's, but their MDR-V600's are pretty nice. A little lacking in bass, not exceptionally so, and very pleasant balance to the rest of the frequency range.

Back when I was living in an apartment, I used to mix on them, and got pretty decent results.

The 7506's are very popular with artists for tracking.
