Hi all! We're running a competition for the best in unsigned musical talent across all genres and we're looking for people to help us judge it. We've got about 60 bands so far in the competition, and we're looking to get a shortlist of about 10-to be judged by you if you're interested- to present to our panel of top UK Music industry heavyweights.

We'll be giving away a load of prizes during the course of the Songpeople Unsigned competition. Here's a list of some of the stuff you could get your hands on if you can take part:

An iPod shuffle
a Sony W200i Walkman phone
200 music downloads
100 chart rock, pop, urban and dance CDs

We’re interested in hearing from all types of people, you don’t have to be an anorak!.... Just as long as you’re honest and not linked to any of the bands entering.
