I would like to make a gear review suggestion.
It would be very cool to have well known artists be a part of the eval. process on gear reviews, shootouts etc..
A guitar shootout like that but with Vai, Satriani or, in the lesser known cat., Joe Bonamassa, Paul Gilbert, or whoever - as additional evaluators would be so cool.
Yeah I know most of them are very busy and might not do it for free. Nevertheless. There are so many that work and live in the GP HQ area!
Hearing what well known working pros and guitar greats think about a bunch of lower budget guitars (May 007 issue) would be incredibly useful for potential buyers and all.
Hearing what the editors think is great but I personally would be more interested in hearing what a Vinnie Moore, Steve Lukather or Steve Morse thinks as well. Especially if they could add whether or not they consider the guitar or amp usable in a live show or other professional context.
