Kudos to the MP web admin team for successfully shifting us over to the new forums!
And it's my resolution in 2007 (now that NAMM is over, thank God) to be a more active participant here on my own forum.

I note that I'm going to have to modify my avatar so that it doesn't stretch to a square. If that's my biggest complaint, I guess we have it pretty good.

I still haven't figured the whole avatar thing out. I know there was a posting somewhere on how to do it, I guess I am either not savvy enough or too lazy to take the time.
Anyway, been away for a while, had a bit of a break, new job, etc. More later on that.
So far I like the new forums.

Yeah, it took me awhile to get used to them, but I'm digging them more and more.
Jay, regarding your avatar:
- Scroll up to the top of the page and click "My Stuff"
- Go to "My Profile"
- In the avatar area of that page, either:
a) enter the address of a graphic file you want to use as a custom avatar, or
b) pick from one of the preset avatars.
That's it. Save your profile, and your avatar will be there immediately.

When I get a minute, or 10 in my case, I am pretty hopeless, I will have to give it a go. This could get fun.
I am liking the forums more and more as I spend time in them again.
