I have no clue if this has been done before, and I realise it could get a bit technical, but I would really like to see an article on bass pick-ups, discussing:
- single coil vs humbuckers
- height of the pickup and impact on the sound
- placement on the pickup and impact on the sound
- different types of pickups (J-style, P-style, soapbars, ...)
- a short comparison of the more popular pickups
- ...
Any feedback ?
