Hi All,
Why is it that the guitar players get all of the extra support via CDs and DVDs from the various Guitar Rags.

I know I would dish out extra cash for a Bass Magazine that comes with a supplemental CD, or a Supplemental DVD issue shocasing a differnt genre of music each quarter of the year. (or even monthly!)

I can only speak for me of course, I am not a musical prodigy, I am hearing impaired and I work for every note I play. I really want and could use the supplemental material, as most of the Tab I have found out there leaves much room for improvement.
I can't get enough quality material to use to improve my abilities.

So how about it, Bass Player would be the perfect vehicle for such...
I'd venture to say I am not alone with this request as well.

No way. I already pay 9 euro (roughly $11.5) per issue as it is. Add a dvd and you add to the cost, which will mean one less reader in Belgium.

I see the fact that it will add to the cost, but I would likely consider it added value for that cost.

I can see it being useful and a good way to add to the lessons in the magazine, as well as a potential tool for advertisers and music placement.
