I was glad you remembered Jimmie Rivers in your 101 Forgotten Greats. He and Jimmy Bryant are some of my favorite players. I was turned on to them by an old guitarist who lives near me (Doc Holliday) and I think he may have worked with Bryant in the LA scene years ago. He gave me several recordings of both Jimmie's and I've been trying my best to learn from these old recordings. Very cool stuff.
