Hi, My name is Oren, I am from Israel, and I am going to subscribe to Guitar Player. Up until now I have occasionally bought Guitar Player Magazine in local book stores that have it for sale, but it's quite pricey here, and I figured I should simply subscribe directly at the web site and get the mag. I just noticed the various giveaways for subscription, and I was wandering, whu only USA and Canada? Why not encourage subscription all over the world? Is it the delivery cost? Tax? What's behind this? Thanks, Oren

Hi Oren...
I don't have the precise answer, but there ARE legal reasons why our giveaways can't be expanded to the world beyond the USA and Canada. Sorry about that.
Editor Boy is working on Thanksgiving????? I was curious on a different aspect of the giveaways.....have you ever had a 7 string up for a giveaway? Just curious...... And before I forget.....Happy Turkey Day!

I'd imagine they should do one soon. One of their contributing columnists, Rusty Cooley , is a 7 string player. He also has a Dean signature model in the works. (Cooley used to endorse Ibanez guitars, but changed companies when they couldn't do what he wanted for a sig model.) Perhaps GP could giveaway one when it's released to the public?
