Ok Im not to sure where to put this but this forum seems the most appropriate, so without further ado.....

http://www.myspace.com/scarletcartel

There are three recently recorded songs up there. Please listen to them and feel free to appreciate or rip them to shreds below.

Oh yeah, please remember that were all a bunch of 16 year olds and this our first effort at recording.

I play bass in this band and if your intrested in tech, I play a Dean Edge fretless and on these tracks I went straight into a bass cabinet(who knows what it was!!)

Thanks for listening(if you did, if not why not?)

whats up fiend? I listened to your tunes. not really my thing. could be the recording though. Me being a bass player, i thought you did an excellent job. Definitely alot tighter than the rest of the band. But hell, if you guys are only in your mid teens, then it is excellent. Like I said, the bass was quite good.
I tried to re-listen, but myspace has been having issues all day. good luck man.

I enjoyed reading the diff bands. Great idea. Our band is called "Taboo" and it consists of 5, Bass/Keys/drums/guitar/Lead. We play at parties or "Rockin' Sushi" (yes, a real rock and roll sushi restaurant), weddings, et al.
We are all in our 40's, married w/ kids, and have a blast. All 70's/80's/90's music, but starting to incorporate newer groups (impressed w/ Green Day, added a couple to our playlist...."Wake me up, When September Ends", check out this song. Our only band rule, "Have fun!", and no pressure to do gigs. Oh, am the keyboardist w/ the XK-3/Motif ES Rack/Yamaha P-90. Fun fun fun.....

Where is the "Rockin Sushi" resturant located? I plan on visiting my brother in Rancho Santa Margarita, and would like to see that!

I like the idea of incorporating newer stuff into your sets, we seem to be stuck in the 70's/80's stuff.
