Ive read about both of those gents and their contributions to the industry and its technology. Fortunately, ive also heard their incredible productions. Its all good.
There arent too many producers or studio operators left these days that push the envelope technologically. Those that do seem to be from the old days. Most folks just amass a collection of manufactured gear. I expect the days of "rolling your own" console and outboard gear are long gone.
