Anyone have any experience with these Majave Audio MA-200 mics? I have heard David Poyer has made and repaired mics and equipment in the L.A. area for years, but what about these mics? Souns like a great deal and seem to have good components ( jensen transformer, military tubes, etc...)

Not yet. The world of mics is SO full of good (and bad) offerings now. I propose most people should NOT buy mics without getting a test or at least - huge positive response from a wide range of users.

I do believe we have the potential for great mics from ANYWHERE. It's in the designer's hands...

I only have second hand info on the sounds, which is very good. I've inspected the mics and they seem well built, but that's all I can tell you.
