I have a call from an end user, trying to adpat S/PDIF or AES/EBU from a Masterlink to a high end Yamaha reciever.

He's got no signal S/PDIF from Masterlink to Yamaha, so he bought one of our AES to S/PDIF convertors, that doesn't work either.

He says the Masterlink records directly into his computer via S/PDIF so its a question now for me...

Does the Masterlink have an internal routing to manuver?

His reciever does play directly from DAT via S/PDIF....

Any Ideas?

Maybe the sampling rates are off. There is no internal routing in the Masterlink
