I know about the ISO9*** system that burns a hybrid CD-ROM but what about pure MAC CDs? I am sure you have to deal with this on a daily basis.

I don't think you can bur a Mac only disc on a PC. If you burn using Joliet format it will be Mac compatible.

I just burn ISO9660's and a Mac (or PC) can read 'em just fine. \:\)

What burner apps do you have available to you? IOW, what software do you normally use to burn data CD's?

I wanted to make specific mac cds because of this very impatient client of mine who has just switched to FCP on OS X. I guess I'll stick to ISO9660 and see what happens ... I am using NTI DVD-Maker that came with my Sony dvd burner, so far so good.

oh and what about UDF? Anyone messed with that also?

ISO9660's can be read by just about anything... Macs on OSX or OS9, Win 98se/ME/XP... you're always safe going that route. Don't worry about it... but if you are still concerned, try a test burn and send them home with it to check - I'm sure you'll be fine. \:\)
