I wonder if anyone has ever asked this question here before:

What do you folks use to keep track of billing, expenses, rentals and all that non creative stuff? As usual this year I am wading through a pile of receipts and dimly remembered sessions to make sure I don't render too much to Caesar. During a project that stuff is the last thing on my mind. I had this expense programme on the Palm but sure enough it doesn't export to Excel if you're a Mac user. Went to try a work around and all the entered receipts dissapeared. Sigh.

Is there a decent system you've found that is Mac compatible, and keeps your numbers straight?

Best regards,

Spencer

yup. i quickbooks. what my cpa recommended. basic version (all you should need) is $200. it's great software.

take a few hours each month to get everything in there and balanced and you will have no stress (or at least less) at tax time.

good luck!
