I seem to be having a problem launching my new version of Ableton Live Digidesign Edition. It keeps giving me this message: "Can't create directory"Abelton" in directory "Macintosh HD: Library:Application Support" I'm running a G5 1.8. Just got a new Digi002 rack, and I was installing all the bundled software that comes with it. Everything else works except the Ableton Live. Anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help me resolve this headache? I'd really appreciate it.
I don't use any of the products but I did a search on the manufacturer's web site and Google and didn't find anything. Try contacting their support; it is the best advice I can give you.

As I said over on Craig's forum, I'm a PC guy, so I'm not aware of any issues with the Mac version. But if it's a problem, someone over on the DUC is bound to have discussed it. I'd check over there on the Mac PT LE forum. http://duc.digidesign.com Best of luck, and let us know what you find out.
I fixed the problem by running the Disk Utility in Panther. I saw an article in Mac Addict's Official Mac Hand Book magazine which suggested that I run the app for verifying and repairing permissions. The app found several incorrect settings, repaired them, and all is well! Thanks alot everyone for your help. If anyone else has this problem, try what I did.
