I'm looking for some Alesis Point Seven's.

Yeah, yeah...discontinued, nitpick this and that...but I LIKE 'em. Got a pair, and I'm really accustomed to using them; so much so, that I'd like to find another pair or two, cheap.

I MIGHT even consider a pair of the older Monitor One's or maybe even the Monitor Two's--from about five years or so ago--but the visual I have in mind would really benefit from Point Seven's. And I'd like to be kinda consistent.

Outside of eBay--which I've already checked--anyone got any ideas?

Ebay (and other auction sites) are something you have to check on a regular basis. Just because something's not listed now doesn't mean it might not be listed tomorrow.

Outside of that, I really don't know what to tell you. Something that's been discontinued that long... well, calling Alesis isn't going to be likely to help. Local dealers are probably not going to have any NOS laying around - ditto that for large national mail order places, although it wouldn't hurt to check with all of those. Just don't get your hopes up. Best bet is to regularly check the auction sites. Call those other places too; just to be safe.

Best of luck in locating your speakers.

I'll make a call for you. My friend has/had a set and just got some 824's. I'll see if he's still got them. If so, seems like they don't have those little corner covers, but I may have some of those kicking around from my old set.

I have a set of the Alesis Point Seven's, but I got a set of the 20/20p and only really use those now. I'd consider doing a trade for em if you have anything I'd like.

Don't know what I've got that I'd trade or what you'd like....
