Hello,

In PT 5 , if I go to Setups / Hardware / other options , the optical options is grayed out, I cant use it.

I wanna use spdif out to a Lexicon reverb and then back into PT via spdif in. I cant get them to work together. The sound is sent to the Lexicon via the spdif and reaches the lexicon, but I cant get it routed back into PT via spdif.

Any tips on this?

PT 5.2
001
G4
0s9

HELP WOW.

I read all of that Phil, but still, how do I get the "grayed out" area so I can use it, is that my problem?

SPDIF out to Lexicon and the no sound back into PT via SPDIF.

Do you have the optical connection set to S/PDIF? I'd bet money that you do... and with the 001, you can use either optical S/PDIF OR coax ("RCA") S/PDIF, but not both simultaneously. If it's set to optical, you flat out can't use the coax, or (IIRC) even select it. So, all you need to do is change the optical from S/PDIF to ADAT, and then you should be able to select the coax S/PDIF.

Let me know if this fixes the problem.
