My listening room (15 by 22 by 7'4") is also the family room, so, for aestetic reasons, I can not get carried away with this acoustic treatment business.
If I can find the right color fabric, I should be able to install 3 corner mounted, 2 foot by 4 foot, 3 inch thick, 705 bass absorbers.
I would also like to place 5 or 6, 2' by 4' absorbers around the room in the major reflection points. For aestetic reasons, I do not want to use 3 inch thick insulation in these areas.
Should I use 1 inch or 2 inch or a combination of both? Paper in or paper out?
Thank you so much for this forum Ethan.

That's a great start.

For early reflections and general mid/high frequency ambience control, one inch rigid fiberglass is fine.

For mid/high absorption you want the fiberglass facing toward room.
