Hi Ethan,
I have a control room measuring 10x16, 8 ft high ceilings. I was considering your bass trap design but wanted to ask, is the room small enough to use 4' or so 703 wrapped in fabric in the corners for the bass traps and call it a day, or is it necessary to build the panel type? How does the plywood benefit in controlling low end? I wasn't sure if using thicker 703 for the corners would just absorb more highs and mids and not really treat the low end at all....Please advise.....Thanks for all of your great advice!!

Yes, that will do a fine job.

Yes, four inches thick is better than only one or two.
