Hi,
I am converting my guest house into a recording studio. It is a 2 story structure. The bottom is one big open room (with iso closet) 26' x 19' x 9' I am building a room within a room and angling walls. Ceiling is low so I will do hard floor soft ceiling. One question - I want to have a mason build a 1/2 or 3/4 height stone wall wrapping around one of the corners as an ambience area. Will this work or is my room just to small?

2nd floor is control room open to kitchen and seperate bedroom (tracking) and bathroom (amps?). Ceiling is sloped "A" frame from 3'9" at sides to 9' 7" at apex with the apex being 3' wide. See diagrams. I plan on using minitraps but am wondering about diffusers. Floor will be hardwood. Please advise.

OK one more question - I see lots of GIF images in others posts but I can't seem to paste one in here and there is nothing in the FAQ. I see an image control below but that appears to be if you are hosting images on an external website - is that the only way to post images here? Thanks -- Rob

Nice size.

Do you really need to do that for isolation?

That sounds like a great idea.

Diffusion is useful in a large room like yours. But good diffusors are not cheap.
