I know that we're always looking for new material to add to our setlist. I'm always out checking other bands to see what they're playing and grab a few of those songs for myself (unethical?). Usually, I'll see a band play one song that people haven't thought of for years and the crowd goes wild over it! You know, those songs that make you go "Man.. I used to LOVE listening to this song!"
Well, THOSE are the songs that we want to be playing. It gives people a "good all over" feeling and the crowd loves you for it.
Anyhow, I am posting all of the songs that make up our our setlists to give others that same opportunity. Perhaps you'll see a song that you never thought of trying and it will go over great for you. I hope you guys can do the same so I can get more ideas as well!
These songs are listed in no particular order, but we try to play the "party songs" toward the middle/end of the show.
And no, I didn't type all of these... I copied and pasted from our website.
Don't Change - INXS The Breakup Song ("they just don't write 'em like that anymore")- Greg Kihn Band All The Small Things - Blink 182 American Pie - Don McLean All For You - Sister Hazel Blitzkrieg Bop - Ramones American Girl - Tom Petty Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison Ball and Chain - Social Distortion Country Roads - John Denver Basket Case - Green Day Don't You Forget About Me - Simple Minds Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes Closing Time - Semisonic Come As You Are - Nirvana Good - Better Than Ezra Come To My Window - Melissa Etheridge Good Girls Don't - The Knack Driver 8 - REM Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benetar Drops of Jupiter - Train Everything You Want - Vertical Horizon Kyptonite - 3 Doors Down Flagpole Sitta - Harvey Danger It's The End of the World As We Know It - REM Free Falling - Tom Petty Learning To Fly - Tom Petty Glycerine - Bush Meet Virginia - Train I Love Rock and Roll - Joan Jett One Way or Another - Blondie I Wanna Be Sedated - Ramones Patience - GNR I Will Survive - Cake Radar Love - Golden Earring Jack and Diane - John Cougar Laid - James Stepping Stone - The Monkees Little Black Backpack - Stroke 9 La Grange - ZZ Top Thunder Island - Jay Ferguson My Own Worst Enemy - Lit What I Like About You - The Romantics Rockin' In The Free World - Neil Young Your Love - The Outfield Shimmer - Fuel Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash Slide - Goo Goo Dolls Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones The Middle - Jimmy Eat World There She Goes - The La What's My Age Again - Blink 182 Dust in the Wind - Kansas When I Come Around - Green Day Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton Wonderwall - Oasis

Great idea! I'm always trying to remember cool tunes that I've seen bands do and inevitably I forget them before I jot them down. Here's our list...We've got a female vocalist that sings about 80% of these, while the bass player and I (guitar) split up the rest. We tend to play what we like, not necessarily the "classics", but we've got enough tunes people know to keep everyone happy.
Sarah Yellin' - 3 Doors Down Poem - Taproot Who Invited You - The Donnas Bring Me To Life - Evanescence What's Going On - 4 Non-Blondes Girls not grey - AFI If It Makes You Happy - Sheryl Crow Seether - Veruca Salt My Own Worst Enemy - Lit Just A Girl - No Doubt If You Could Only See - Tonic Come To My Window - Etheridge Deny - Default Running Away - Hoobastank How You Remind Me - Nickelback Bittersweet - Fuel Lump - PUSA Cheap Honesty - Skunk Anansie Damaged - Sass Jordan Basket Case - Green Day You Oughta Know - Alanis Take it Off - The Donnas 3 Small Words - JATPC Sk8er Boi - Avril Lavigne Spiderman - Ramones Hate to Say I Told You So - Hives Don't You Forget About Me -Simple Minds Heartbreaker -Pat Benatar Pappa Don't Preach -Kelly Osborne 99 Red Ballons - Goldfinger Everybody Wants You - Billy Squire Drift and Die - Puddle of Mudd Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down Bring Me Some Water - Ethridge You’re a God - Vertical Horizon Bitch - Meredith Brooks Man In The Box - AIC Paranoid - Black Sabbath Banditos - Refreshments Here and Now - Letters to Cleo Beautiful - JoyDrop Fell In Love With A Girl - White Stripes Cumbersome - 7 Mary 3 Fly Away - Kravitz Mama Kin - Aerosmith I wanna be Sedated - Ramones I Choose - Offspring Perfect Stranger - Patti Rothberg Defy You - Offspring Everywhere - Michelle Branch Drive - Incubus Charlie Brown's Parents - Dishwalla No Rain - Blind Melon Long Way Down - Goo Goo Dolls Nearly Lost You - Screaming Trees Rock Show - Blink 182 Fight For Your Right - Beastie Boys Shy - Ani Difranco

Better Off Dead Hmmmm... what was the tipoff? The songs? My witless ramblings? I am the one who picks most of the songs, so I'm really curious.
Actually, the wife and I are from central PA (grew up around, and attended, Penn State) and just moved to DE 3 years ago, but still "close" to home.
