I am just finishing a library of songs written for female CMT artists. My partner and I have our own Demo studio and have been writing songs for 12 months. Who should we send our songs to. Should we send them to Publishers only or is it a good idea to send to record labels etc..Please help
Solicited is the keyword here. Most people wont accept tapes unless they have been discussed on the phone or at meetings. Cold mailings are 95% a waste of time, materials & postage. There is a company called TAXI, who, for a fee, will send your songs to A&R people if theyv pass ther company's quality test.
