Hi,
Say a band signs a small deal with an independant label with major distribution, and then discovers during the recording of their first album, that they don't really get along with their A&R guy (different vision, lack of communication, etc.) What should the band do? Continue to disagree with the guy, fight and struggle, risking whether the album will even get released? Give in, and do what he says, miserable all the while, and making a record the band does not want to make? Ask the label for a different guy? Try and get out of the deal (is this possible)? Or...?

Any and all feedback appreciated greatly.

thats my favorite/
tell the label you are happy with them (if u are) but you differ strenuously with the A&R guy. If the label agrees, make sure your breakup with the A&R guy is compltely amicable on your side cause ya know he's gonna be president of the label that buys the label you're signed to...... .
