Hi,

I have a line 6 spider 212 and an original 1966 Fender super reverb.

I would love to send the sound of the Line 6 into the super and mix the two sounds together. How would I do this with out using the headphone jack on the line 6? Right now the chain is: gtr to line 6 - line 6 headphone jack to super reverb input.

The reason I don't want to do it this way is due to the fact that I think I might be ruining the amps this way. My line six has died twice already.

So if there is a different way to get similar results, please feel free to include your opinion.

Thank you so much for your time,

Zach

Well this is an unusual setup. I don't see how you could have damaged the Line 6 by doing this. As for the headphone out, try and match the level of your guitar jack out so as not to slam the input of your Fender too much.

I guess what I and others are wondering is why don't you buy a splitter ( I think Voodoo Labs makes one) and have a killer stereo sound? And if you still want different tones pumping into your Fender then put a floor pedal between the splitter and the amp.
