So now that my acoustic feels and sounds awesome, my electric suddenly feels like crap. After showing it to a fellow guitarist who adjusted the bridge because the action was too high, it feels even worse.

I bought it in Germany, took it here to the Philippines, and now it isn't the same. Not as smooth and it seems the frets are higher then before. I haven't played it in a while, and now compared to the acoustic the frets are just...thick, and it looks higher, and I have to set the bridge up pretty high to prevent buzz. I didn't touch the truss rod, so i don't see why it would change from Germany to here. Is it the change in humidity? It"s definitely much more humid.

I'm thinking of taking it to a tech and maybe filing the frets down and stuff. Anyone experienced this 'fattening' of the frets?
