Seriously... let me echo the thoughts of others on the "vibrato bars" thread...
First, this is one of the best forums I've found for intellegent thought regarding guitars, music, performance, setups, ect. There are some great ideas bantered about, and I've both vented my guts and learned a lot from being a part of this...
It generally lacks the uninformed opinions, innane battles over trivial topics, and constant flame wars that many forums seem to spawn. (See Harmony Central)!
Most of the people who post here are or were professional musicians, but there is plenty of "welcome" for new players and even "wanna be" players.
Even "dumb" questions get answered, usually very well, but we're also pretty "self-policing", so unfriendly or rude comments often get ignored or laughed at.
I'm not sure what nell read in the thread she started that "set her off" and if she wanted to continue to post here... she's more than welcome...
But I for one feel this is one of the few communities worth bothering to invest my time in... and I ENJOY the occasional humor that finds its way here...
So... welcome one and all... join in with your thoughts and comments... and learn how to take a JOKE...

Yup, even the harshest of opinions usually contains an apologetic tone.
But really, I used to think this was a great place to hang,learn,etc... until recently I've found myself waking up in a cold sweat. I have trouble remembering dreams but, this one has something to do with somebodys gramma trying to deal me after a polka fest?....

Well hey, KHAN, since it seems everyone thinks it's your fault Nell left, I guess I'm off the hook  Maybe they mistook Neil for Nell and thought I was having a left brain/right brain schizoid episode. I'm not so sure I wasn't!
