of course you are talkin about the for that purpose-"realtime settings can be 'tapped in'. hold mode produces endless repeats" thats what you are talkin about,right?

well,correct me if i'm wrong and i'll eat a bug, but tapping in a delay time came w/the digital age i think-i have many a analog delay boxes from the old echoplex to bob moogs moogerfooger analog delay and have never seen that available,but if you find one please let me know-i would be totally interested. btw, is there a special reason for it to be analog-most(i say most) of the anomalies of analog can be (in todays world) gotten in a *good* digital delay. imho

Before you buy any delay units check out Line 6's ML4.
It is my favorites pedal in my effect chain. It has a bunch of different echos and delays and they sound great. It also has a looping function. It has tap tempo and can recall three diferent presets with a tap of the foot. I find that it sounds cleaner than my analog units but just as lush. I use it at all of my shows.

I'd always thought the tap delay feature was something that came on digital delay units only, not analog. I've never seen an analog delay with that feature. If someone does know of one, please let all of us know!
