A few months ago, I e-mailed PRS and asked them if they would make a Santana model at a lower cost. More affordable for me. Less oramentation, nickel hardware, a AA top instead of a AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA top. They said there was nothing in the works. Sureluy, I'm no the only one who made the request. I love the LP TV Special body shape, with the archtop like the LP and the Hamers and of course, the Santana. I have seen a in Guitar One and Guitar Player, but don't know the details. In discussions in other forums some have called it a bolt-on piece of crap. Korean made and the pickups sound like *&#% (I don't talk like that) and for under $1000. The PRS website hasn't been updated since November 23. Do any of you all know any details about this new issue?
