We do allow bass players in here, too! Hey, we finally got this guitar forum going, so who knows - if the interest is there and enough people will be there to keep it active, a separate bass forum might definitely happen sometime in the near future. Let me be the first to welcome you here!

that could be true too due to clocking errors bad AD conversion from too much jitter.

Speaking of new forums, looks like we're going to start a German language forum, and maybe even a Spanish & French one as well...then MAYBE we'll try to squeeze a bass player forum in :-)

Peeps,

I was hoping they would start a Bassist's
Forum. I mentioned that in an earlier post.

Peace, Gone.

Sorry, Jose,

Pig-Latin is probably an American thing. We used to think we were funny when we were kids (little kids at that) by taking the initial consonant off of the beginning of a word and putting it at the end with the suffix "-ay"...putting = uttingpay...with = ithway...

I know it sounds upidstay. It is. But that's igpay atinlay. A kids thing from the US. Have no clue where or why it originated...kids in Spain may have some equivalent word game...

Just to emphasize a few good natured rib pokes in bass players' direction...

and Latin wasnt a reference to the latin community but the old language that most of our words/language are derived from that is no longer in use much. maybe i should have said sanscrit instead?

Hey bassists -- don't think we've forgotten you. We've approached some prominent bass players about hosting forums, but haven't closed any deals yet. We're still working on it. BTW some props go to editor Britt Strickland, a working bass player and valued MP.com employee...he's the one who's unofficially responsible for making sure we keep the bass coverage happening (among his 1,245 other tasks, but that's another story). For example, he just posted a couple McCartney stories that are pretty interesting. So bass players are well-represented within MP.com, it's just that things take time...

Sorry to reply so late...I think I made it look like I was pissed off or something. I was just, like I said, puzzled by the words.

I used to think that, unlike Music (sigh!) English was something that I started learning young enough (for a second lenguage)...you just proved me wrong...and made me feel soo old and tired...;-)

Have fun,

JoseC.
