"The Keyboard Corner"

What a fitting title for this forum, since bands tend to stick us keyboard players off in a corner somewhere!

Dave, was this irony intended?

Because you guys have yourselves surrounded with all that gear. Almost as bad as drummers. If I could find a keyboard player here in KC I'd retreat to the corner.

It can't be that bad, can it?

Yep. Hardly any key players that are looking for a gig here in KC. I know I'd have no trouble finding another guitar player.

Nope. Not intentionally, anyway...

I took the name from an old music store where I bought some keyboards back in the 1970s - they called that corner of their store The Keyboard Korner. I always hated the "Korner" bit, bit I guess the name stuck in my head. I wanted it to portray a place where people got together and talked...like a street corner, you know?

Besides, we have to be in a corner - we got big immovable stuff...It looks silly in the center of the stage (see Yanni, figure A... )

Thanks for the 411, Dave.

I agree, "The Keyboard Korner" was a little "Korny."

(Sorry. I couldn't resist!)
