My control room is starting to be tapped out in terms of electrical power - I have to pick and choose what gear I fire up(TOO MUCH GEAR - oh well). Would upping the breaker value from 15amp to 20amp solve the problem or do I need more extensive work?

Thanks and glad to see you on"board".

You might solve your studio problems that way, but what about the main bulding amp max?
Also, don't overload the studio wiring with 20 amps if it can't handle it.
Check with an electrical supply store. They can tell you what guage wire vs breaker amps vs total building amps.
You might need to run a new line from the main box if there is enough amps coming into the building.
Codes and Safety first! Don't burn it down.

you gotta have a heavier gauge wire to up the amps on the circut. you cant just replace the fuse so it doesnt blow. otherwise the lighter wire with heavier fuse will heat up with heavy use and possibly burn it down. you can pancake fuses IF you arent drawing constant amps off both lines. this works with fuse lines that arent much use [bathroom, etc]. also add up all the amps of your equipment and see how much you actually need. it could possibly just be leveling your different lines that exist [balance the loads over several lines instead of maybe maxing one line and others having a light load]
