Can anyone recommend an inexpensive surround receiver with 6 preamp outputs? My old trusty Denon AVR-1700 only has L,C,R, LFE. I just want to be able to A-B surround stuff in my project studio using my powered monitors. I can also output of DVD Studio Pro to get a good encoded preview before burning. Has anyone found anything in the $200 range? Used would be Ok too. Something with DTS.
Never mind (I guess I'm answering my own post). I'm just going to spend the money and get another Denon, the new AVR-1906. It has lots of preamp outs. I'm tired of scouring the planet for a cheap receiver that has 6 pre outs. I don't think it exists for less than $400.

I use a Sherwood, but they, too have dropped this feature from sub-$400 units. The cheapest professional surround controls are still over $700, though.
